"Pagosa" is a Ute Indian name given to the hot mineral springs renowned for their healing qualities. Relaxing hot mineral baths and swimming pool are open all year. San Juan National Forest and spectacular Weminuche and South San Juan Wilderness areas offer untold adventure opportunities. Visit the Fred Harman Art Museum, Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park, Chimney Rock Indian Ruins, and experience our 27 hole golf course. Winter provides great powder skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area. Miles of groomed snowmobile and cross-country ski trails in magnificent mountain settings.
