Named one of America's most picturesque cities by Sunset Magazine, Ouray is truly the "Gem of the Rockies." Sparkling waterfalls, year-round natural hot springs pool and charming Victorian architecture are only a few of the city's many-faceted attractions. More than 500 miles of trails lead to adventure for hikers, mountain bikers and 4-wheel drivers. In winter, enjoy alpine and nordic skiing, snow shoeing, unparalleled ice climbing and a multitude of other winter experiences. Ridgway Reservoir offers great fishing, boating and wildlife watching year round. Ouray is a treasure trove of priceless memories any time of year.

Ridgway
Located just 10 minutes north of Ouray, this small community is a gentle tribute to western charm. Nestled in the valley between the San Juan and Cimmaron Mountains, this northern part of the county offers a recreational paradise. Other highlights include Ridgway State Park Reservoir and Recreation Area and a championship 18 hole golf course at Fairway Pines Golf Club.
